The latest Atlantic Meridional Transect (AMT) cruise set sail from Port Stanley in the Falklands at the end of February 2023. The six week expedition has been undertaking biological, chemical and physical oceanographic research during its passage back to the UK. The AMT cruises have been taking place since 1995 and have contributed to a unique time series of observations on the structure and biogeochemical properties of planktonic ecosystems.

Updates from the scientists on board are being shared via AMT4CO2Flux on twitter.
